Remand

An order sending the accused back into custody � police custody (investigation) or judicial custody (pending trial).

Full Definition

Police custody remand: up to 15 days total. Judicial custody: sent to jail. After 15 days from arrest, only judicial custody is possible. The 60/90-day default bail clock starts from first arrest.
